Chapel of St Mary Magdalen, Guildhall

The chapel of St Mary Magdalen, Guildhall, which was the Court of Requests in Regency times.

The chapel was founded about the year 1299 (or about 1368, depending on which medieval difference of opinion on the matter you prefer). The chapel was considerably refurbished (if not completely rebuilt) during the reign of Henry VI.

These engravings date from the early nineteenth century.
