Allhallows the Great, Upper Thames Street

This thirteenth-century church had several aliases - All Hallows at the Hay, All Hallows in La Corderie, All Hallows in the Ropery, and All Hallows in the More. Destroyed in the Great Fire the church was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren between 1677-1683. The church was finally demolished in the late Victorian phase for doing away with all things old.
