Church of St Giles, Cripplegate, Fore Street

The Church of St Giles, Cripplegate, Fore Street, was founded about 1090 by Alfune, the first master of St Bartholomew's Hospital. The old church burned down in 1545, and the one erected afterwards escaped the Great Fire of London in 1666.
