St Lawrence Jewry

At the south-west corner of Guildhall Yard, on King Street, stands the parish church of St Lawrence Jewry. The 'Jewry' comes from the fact that during medieval times many Jews lived nearby. The church was rebuilt after being destroyed in the Great Fire of London.
