Delaford Park

Within two miles from Uxbridge, on the southwest, is Delaford Park, the property and residence of Charles Clowes, Esq. It stands close to the site where the ancient Mansion of Delaford stood until the late eighteenth century, when it was demolished. A branch of the River Colne watered this estate, and fine undulations of the park were enriched with much ornamental wood.
