The Bawdy Blind Beggar

A blind man who would sit very still for many hours in the one position. He observed a profound silence when on his stand, but “makes noise enough when he attends the Tabernacle Walk on the Sabbath” and on weekdays could often be heard singing obscene songs (when not begging).
