The Tower of London c. 1813

From the Thames above, and from the opposite view, from the northern portions of Tower Hill, below. Many private houses had been built up against the wall of the Tower complex. The sail structure rising in the centre of the White Tower is a mystery known only to the engraver. See also a view of Traitor's Gate.

The final engraving is of the church within the tower (the Chapel of St John) which during Georgian times was used as a Record Office, and was filled with shelves and parchments.
