The Dutch Church in Austin Friars, Broad Street

Built on the site of an Augustinian monastery, Edward VI gave the church to German and other foreign religious dissidents who had fled their own lands. By the Georgian period it had become known as the Dutch Church. Destroyed during World War II the church has since been replaced.
