The Temple of Concord, Green Park

As it appeared August 1st 1814. Built to mark the signing of the peace agreement between France and England. On its sides were depicted various representations of peace, harmony, discord, strife, industry, war etc. The temple was illumed at night and, when in working order, managed to revolve rather spectacularly. Once can only imagine the sight the night the pagoda went up in flames (the pagoda is visible in the background).
