The Clothworkers' Hall, Mincing Lane, Fenchurch Street

This small building of red brick was the fourth hall to stand on this site. Built in 1668 to replace the third hall destroyed in the Great Fire, it was demolished in 1855. The nineteenth-century Hall was, in its turn, destroyed during the Blitz and a sixth one opened in 1958.
