The Ironmongers' Hall, north side of Fenchurch Street

The Georgian hall was a 'stately, modern edifice' constructed of Portland stone and brick in 1748 from designs drawn by Thomas Holden, and was either the third or fourth hall of the company to stand on this site. The hall was damaged by a bomb in 1917 and was subsequently demolished, whereupon the Ironmongers rebuilt their hall off Aldersgate Street.
